Great holiday house accommodation in Rye close to the beach.

The Deckhouse in Rye is a beautifully presented modern 3 bedroom beach house just a  stroll from the main beach in Rye and Rye pier.  It’s the perfect place to get away from it all and  relax in a quiet tree lined location yet still have everything you need on your doorstep.  Walk to the Rye foreshore, cafe’s and shops and it’s just a short drive to the wonderful ocean beaches.

The spacious open plan living area on the main level has sliding doors leading to the delightful outdoor entertaining deck, with a gas BBQ and lovely setting for 8, perfect for lazy lunches and al fresco dining.

The separate rumpus room is ideal for a bit of rest and relaxation or for kids to have their own space. It has a 2nd TV and DVD, a double sofa bed and chair which converts to a further single bed.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a kitchen bench for casual meals opening on to the dining are with a dining setting for 6.

Up a short flight of stairs is a great parents retreat with lots of privacy, a queen size bed, walk in robes and ensuite.  You even have your own private deck set amongst the Ti-trees.

There is a short flight of stairs from the living area to the other 2 bedrooms.  One has 2 single beds and the 3rd bedroom has a double bottom bunk with a single on top.  This bright and airy room has sliding doors leading to another sunny deck.

The family bathroom has a bath and shower plus there is a separate toilet and laundry with a washing machine.

The garden is fully fenced and there is off street undercover parking.

The Deckhouse is aptly named with 3 different deck areas to choose from, so you can enjoy a lovely glass of something chilled with your guests or pop off for some privacy and a good book as you like.

At the bottom of the garden there is a mini basketball court with an NBA approved basketball hoop and baseboard. This is a great spot for kids, there are boogie boards, a cricket and badminton set and various toys and board games that are all there to enjoy.
