The Old School House

            

Provincial Victoria's incredibly stylish and newest boutique accommodation, The Old School House at Rochford Lodge is a haven of luxury and relaxation. Built circa 1857, this lovingly restored former school house is an intimate and superb self contained retreat for just one couple.

There are soaring vaulted ceilings in the main living and bedroom area, sumptuous over filled sofas, beautiful furnishings and fabrics and an enormous open fire place. 

There is a wall mounted LCD TV, DVD's, CD's, magazines and books all for your enjoyment.

The studio kitchen is well stocked for simple meal preparation and has a gas hot plate and fridge.

There is a light filled dining gallery with floor to ceiling windows adjacent to the living area, a lovely spot to enjoy a gourmet breakfast or long, lazy lunch.

The chic, modern bathroom has a stone walled shower and L'Occitane Provence toiletries.

Relax on the observation deck with sundowner cocktails enjoying the stunning backdrop of this beautiful landscape deep in the Victorian countryside and you will never want to leave.

The mysterious Hanging Rock is a short drive away and there are no fewer than 15 wineries on your doorstep.

The Macedon Ranges offer wonderful spots for picnics, walking trails, rock climbing, wineries, art galleries, golf and gastronomic delights.

Our Gourmet weekend package includes:

A 2 night stay for two guests inclusive of

Midweek Gourmet package:
