"The Tree House is absolutely beautiful! Nestled in the hills overlooking the ocean with excellent views from the bedrooms and the deck off of the kitchen. It was clean and furnished nicely, albeit sparsely. I'm sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the views and cook a dinner on the grill!

The Treehouse - Skenes Creek

The Treehouse at Skenes Creek is a beautifully crafted, environmentally friendly 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house located on a fantastically elevated position opposite Skenes Creek beach, on the great ocean road, 5 kms to Apollo Bay.
It is next door to our other property, The Beachhouse, both properties can be booked at the same time, sleeping 8 in total in both houses, ideal for friends and family groups.
The views are sublime. Sit on the huge entertaining deck and watch the ocean roll in through the gum trees. Every room has a view, you can see the ocean from both bedrooms.
The state of the art modern kitchen adjoins the open plan dining and sitting room with a wood fire on the upper level, whilst the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs, there is an en suite to the master bedroom and a queen size bed. The twin room has 2 singles which can be joined to make a king bed.
Linen and breakfast provisions are available on request for a small additional charge. If you bring your own linen, all beds have pillows and doonas.
Location, location, location
This part of the Great Ocean Rd is simply stunning. You can organise beach horse rides on the neighbouring beach, sample wonderful wines, explore Apollo Bay with it's great shops and cafés, charter a deep sea fishing boat, play a round or 2 of golf, whale watch and of course visit the world famous 12 Apostles which are just down the road. Scenic helicopter flights can be arranged.
Great for larger groups
Combined with The Beach House next door, you can sleep 8 in splendid comfort with all your own facilities and decks on both properties large enough for group entertaining.
